Buses Running On Metro-North's Danbury Branch

DANBURY, Conn. — Substitute bus service is running on the Danbury Branch instead of trains on Tuesday afternoon, Metro-North announced. 

Police activity was reported near the Merritt 7 train station in Norwalk on the Danbury Branch of Metro-North.

A bus is running in place of the 3:17 p.m. train from Danbury to South Norwalk due to police activity in the vicinity of Merritt 7, Metro-North said. 

The bus service is running about 40 to 45 late. 

The bus is making all stops to South Norwalk. 

Train riders should listen for announcements at their stations.
