Kyle Freitag, 23, admitted in January to shooting and killing Dajon Johnson, 19, and permanently injuring Bancroft Daly, 20, the Advocate said.

As part of the plea deal, Freitag's defense argued for a 25-year prison sentence, but the judge instead handed down 30 years along with 10 years of special parole due in large part to Freitag's two previous gun-related convictions, The Stamford Advocate reported.
