NORWALK, Conn. - A friendly, micro-chipped black cat with white markings was found at Norwalk High School on Tuesday.

He is wearing a collar with a bell and is "eager to get home," according to the woman who found him.

UPDATE: "Mozart" the cat has been returned safely home.

Kitty and owner are being reunited this evening. Post was done to help expedite this event. Chip database information was correct. It just took time to get everything handled! Happy ending to the story.

Only if the owner keeps the information current. Many people don't bother to update their phone numbers.
