16 Nabbed on Gun, Narcotics Charges

Sixteen people from Stamford and Norwalk were taken into custody Thursday and charged with federal weapons and narcotics violations. In addition, dozens of firearms, ammunition, firearm parts and related materials were seized, a release from the U.S. Attorney's Office said. 

An indictment handed down Tuesday charges that Patrick Uzar of Stamford acquired firearms from relatives and other members of the Stamford Chapter of the Latin Kings and sold them to a third party and distributed part of the proceeds to members of a conspiracy. The indictment also charges that Uzar and others were involved in the distribution of cocaine and ecstasy.

Those indicted, in addition to Patrick Uzar, are Christian Andre Aliaga, James Blackburn, John Davis, Alfred Brown, Agustin Crespo, Louis Feliciano, Kevin Goulbourne, Analisa Martinez, Willie Nieves, Jeffrey Nunez, Anthony Uzar Sr., Anthony Uzar Jr. and Santos Zambrana, all of Stamford, Rodolfo Revello of Trumbull and George Uzar Sr. of Norwalk.

The arrests were a result of a long-term, joint investigation the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the U.S. Marshals Service, the Stamford Police Department, the Bridgeport Police Department, the Norwalk Police Department and the Connecticut Department of Correction.
