NORWALK, Conn. -  The Norwalk Senior Center now has the most state-of-the-art Computer Lab of any senior center in all of New England.

Recently, the Norwalk Senior Center updated its Computer Lab by partitioning its computer hard drives and installing the Windows 8.1 operating system along with Windows 7 and Microsoft's Office Suite Pro programs. The installation of these operating systems and software is to help meet the growing needs of seniors in the city. The center also installed a new high-speed, high-capacity router.

Those interested in signing up for fall classes at the Norwalk Senior Center may call 203-847-3115 and ask for Jane or visit www.norwalkseniorcenter.org for more information.

Installation of these programs was made possible by a grant of $2,000 from the Monker Grotto, based in the Old Well-St. John's No. 6 Masonic Lodge at 5 Gregory Blvd.
