Paul McLaughlin was in good company as he waited in line at the South Norwalk Post Office on Monday (April 18), the last day to file taxes. "The line is out the door," said postal worker Sharon Stanizeski.
Her co-worker, Tom Ferrania, deadpanned, "There's always a line." But he added that the line was usually four or five people, unlike Mondays much longer queue.
Luisa Salceda of Wilton said she had come to Norwalk because the Post Office there was "way too busy."
McLaughlin said he was filing for an extension but that it didn't matter because there still had to be a check in the envelope. "I've never been late," he said. "I've always been on time."
