Kurt Ringquist of Stamford won Main Street Connect's Close To My Heart contest. His story celebrated "the best Valentine's Day present anybody could ever hope for," his fiance Tracy. Ringquist donated his half of the winnings - a total of $10,000 - to his favorite organization, CLASP Home of Westport, which he chose as the local non-profit closest to his heart.
