South Norwalk Library To Host Series On Naturopathic Health

NORWALK, Conn. -- The South Norwalk Branch Library is set to host a food and naturopathic health series starting Tuesday, March 4.

The program starts at 5:30 p.m. at the library, 10 Washington St. in Norwalk. The series will include film screenings and speakers on Tuesdays in March and April.

The program includes a screening of the film "Supersize Me." A discussion of the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s MyPlate general nutrition led by Santina Galbo, from the City of Norwalk Health Department will follow the screening. The program continues on Tuesday, March 11, with the an 89-minute film, “Hungry for Change.”

Future programs include natural ways to control high blood pressure, high cholesterol and other health related screenings. For information on the series offerings, residents are asked to visit the library's website or call 203-899-2790, ext. 15902. The series is free and open to the public.
