Santa Claus will visit the aquarium from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, to pose for photos and visit with children.

Santa Claus also will join the aquarium’s dive team and swim with sharks. Santa will strap on scuba gear and enter the aquarium’s 110,000-gallon “Ocean Beyond the Sound” exhibit, which is home to 7-foot sand tiger and lemon sharks.

The “Scuba Santa” programs are scheduled for Thursdays in December. The visits will be part of the regular dive-team program, which lets visitors see – and talk with – divers swimming among the sharks.

Residents can get more details about The Maritime Aquarium offerings or reserve tickets at 203-852-0700 or The Maritime Aquarium Website.
