NORWALK, Conn. Sarah Fiore Yanott of Norwalk died at May 6 in St. Vincent's Medical Center after a brief illness. She was 95.
Yanott was born Oct. 30, 1916 in Norwalk to Pasquale and Rosaria Mastrolillo. A resident of Norwalk for more than 60 years, she was a former employee of Rabhor Robes and T-Bar. Yanott was also a member of the St. Anns Club. She loved knitting, sewing, cooking and spending time with her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Dolores (Paul) Lamminen, of Fairfield; a son, Matthew (Judy) Fiore, Jr., of Annapolis, Md.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She was married twice and predeceased by both husbands, Matthew Fiore and Lawrence Yanott.
Visitation is at Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Matthew Church in Norwalk, with burial following at St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
