Rowayton placed seventh on the list of 30 beach towns. It was praised for its rivers, coves and shoreline, as well as its restored downtown and waterfront homes.

Each town on the list has direct beach and water access, a population of fewer than 20,000 full-time residents and family-friendly attractions.
