Rosa Turnage, 54, Norwalk Volunteer for Homeless

NORWALK, Conn. – Rosa M. Turnage of Norwalk died May 25. She was 54.

The daughter of Maria and Clifford Crafter Sr., she was born April 21, 1958, in Norwalk. She married Julius D. Turnage and was an active volunteer in Norwalk and at her church. She enjoyed working with the homeless of Norwalk, providing them with food and clothing.

Turnage is survived by her husband, Julius; a brother, Clifford Crafter Jr.; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.

Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at Baker Funeral Services Chapel in Norwalk. A memorial service will take place on Wednesday at 3 p.m. at The Bridge Church in Norwalk. Burial will be private.
