NORWALK, Conn. – Margaret "Peggy" G. Kelley, of Norwalk, died April 29, surrounded by family. She was 82.
Kelley was born March 14, 1930, in Bridgeport to Paul Leroy and Mildred Horan Green. She was married to Dr. Edward J. Kelley for 54 years. She graduated from Marymount College in 1952 and earned a master’s degree in education from Fairfield University in 1959.
A devout Roman Catholic, Kelley was a longtime volunteer at St. Thomas the Apostle Church office. She also volunteered for the Norwalk Hospital Women’s Board at Treasure House.
In addition to her husband, survivors include two daughters, Margaret M. Kelley, of Norwalk and Paula L. (Robert) Passero, of New Canaan; a son, Edward J. (Patricia Corrigan) Kelley, of Melrose, Mass.; and three grandchildren.
A wake will be held from 4-8 p.m. on Wednesday at Magner Funeral Home in Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Thursday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Thomas the Apostle Church.
