NORWALK, Conn. Paulette Rochman Bolin of Norwalk died May 15 at her home surrounded by family. She was 61.
Born Nov. 27, 1950, in Paris, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Renee Rochman. Bolin was a well-known radio personality in Connecticut and New York. She had worked in radio for over 40 years, including WNEW and WKHL.
Described by family as a flower child of the '60s, she "loved and lived for rock and roll." Bolin also loved her English mastiff dog, Beau, and was proud of her French heritage. She especially enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends.
She is survived by a daughter, Jessica (Paul Gentile) Bolin, of Norwalk; a brother, Pierre (Joanne) Rochman, of Newtown, Conn.; and two nephews.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home in Trumbull. A final tribute will follow at noon. Burial will be private.
