Described by family as a flower child of the '60s, she "loved and lived for rock and roll." Bolin also loved her English mastiff dog, Beau, and was proud of her French heritage. She especially enjoyed cooking and entertaining family and friends.

She is survived by a daughter, Jessica (Paul Gentile) Bolin, of Norwalk; a brother, Pierre (Joanne) Rochman, of Newtown, Conn.; and two nephews.
