Norwalk's Santa Needs Your Help

NORWALK, Conn. – Would you like to give a toy to a needy child? The Toys for Tots Marine Corps League's Mahackemo Division would love to help you and has donation boxes set up around Norwalk, including at City Hall, Wells Fargo banks and other businesses.

Registrar of Voters Karen Doyle Lyons invites you to bring a new, unwrapped toy to City Hall and place it in the designated receptacle outside Room 122, where she is collecting toys on behalf of the Marine Corps League.

"The boxes will be out for collection until Dec. 16, when the toys will be picked up then sorted and distributed to deserving children throughout the Norwalk area," she said in a statement. She has been helping with the drive for the past 11 years and says it is just one way that she gives back to the community. She is working with Dan Caporale and Pete Havens of the Marine Corps League to organize the toy drive for the Norwalk area.

If another box is more convenient, drop a new, unwrapped toy in one of them. You have until Friday!
