NORWALK, Conn. - The Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum in Norwalk stepped into the past as it hosted its second annual Ice Cream Social on Sunday at Mathews Park.

Performers at the event included T.A.T., supported by members of Rubberband of Norwalk, the Mulkerin School of Irish Dance of Norwalk and West Haven, Norwalk Academy of Dance, The Grandmas and Grandpas of Wilton, magician and juggler Jason Pipitone, and palm reader Jessica Fattahi of Stamford.

The event also featured costumed interpreters and props from the museum, and booths hosted by local bakers and crafters.

Attendees also had a chance to learn how ice cream was made during the Victorian era.
