NORWALK, Conn.-- Leah Hartman, of Norwalk, has been appointed to Connecticut Humanities Board of Directors.
Connecticut Humanities is a nonprofit affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities, which gives money to, creates and collaborates on hundreds of cultural programs across Connecticut each year. Connecticut Humanities brings together people of all ages and backgrounds to express, share and explore ideas in thoughtful and productive ways.
Hartman joins five others who are newly appointed to the board. Other new board members are Charles Kochakian, of Madison; Jeffrey Partridge of Unionville; ErikaTindill, of New Haven; Matthew Warshauer, of West Hartford; and Nancy Pritchard Weiss, of Pomfret Center.
Professionally, Hartman is head of research at The Delaware Bay Management Company, LLC in New York City. Prior to that, she worked as head of research for Sky Harbor Capital Management in Greenwich.
