NORWALK, Conn. – University of Delaware student and Norwalk resident Sarah Rivera was among 250 participants that raised $1.7 million in one of the nation's largest university dance marathon fundraisers on Sunday, March 13.
The benefit raised money for Wilmington, Delaware-based Andrew McDonough B+ Foundation. UD students joined the fight against childhood cancer with UDance, the university's most-popular student-run philanthropy. The organization celebrated a year's worth of fundraising during its 10th annual 12-hour dance marathon.
