NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Seaport Association is set to host the Pirate's Ball on Saturday, March 15.

The benefit is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Norwalk Inn & Conference Center at 99 East Ave. in Norwalk. The event promises to feature live and silent auctions and pirate-themed festivities.

"The Norwalk Seaport Association invites you bring out your inner pirate and party like we're swashbucklers in the Caribbean," a press release said. "Join our scalawags to fill ye gizzard with grog and delectable food undefined and maybe even find hidden treasures during our live and silent auctions. If you can't come, you'll be forced to walk the plank. So grab your sword, hat and parrot, ye hearties, and be counted."

The Norwalk Seaport Association hosts the annual Oyster Festival and runs the Sheffield Island ferry.

Tickets for the Pirate's Ball are $140. For reservations or more information, residents are asked to visit the Norwalk Seaport Association website or call 203-838-9444.
