Norwalk Public Library Announces Holiday Events For Kids

NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Public Library is inviting families to its holiday activities in the Children's Room.

Here is a list of events: 

  • "Despicable Me" will be playing today, Dec. 26, at 4 p.m. followed by the sequel "Despicable Me 2" at 6 p.m. The second movie includes pizza and costs $1.
  • On Friday, Dec. 27, enjoy stories and songs at 10 a.m. and hula hooping at 4 p.m.
  • "Music & Movement" with Miss Kathi for children age 4 and under is on Saturday, Dec. 28, at 10 a.m.
  • All school-age children are invited to build Lego robots on Monday, Dec. 30, at 3 p.m. The robots will be then connected to a computer. Younger children will be set up with Lego Duplos in a smaller room.
  • Finally, at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 31, you can count down to noon at the New Year's Eve Bubbleology Party with plenty of bubbles, confetti and refreshments to help kids celebrate.
