Diane Green of Norwalk was honored for completing 25 years of service as a volunteer at Norwalk Hospital . Diana O'Donnell of Fairfield, right, vice president of the Volunteer Board, presented her with an engraved bowl and congratulated her for her dedicated service.
Green has put in 7,876 hours of service in the past 25 years and nine months. Before that, Green volunteered at the hospital when she was attending Norwalk High School. She is now a dispatcher for the Patient Transport Service and the receptionist in the Volunteer Office. She has also worked in the original coffee shop and at the information desk
"We are so grateful to Diane Green for her many years of dedicated service to Norwalk Hospital," Dan DeBarba, president and CEO of the hospital, said in a statement. "Her commitment and contributions to the hospital as a Volunteers are immeasurable."
