NORWALK, Conn. -- Audra Riley-Wade, an intensive care nurse at Norwalk Hospital, was recently named a News 12 Connecticut “Hometown Hero.”

Riley-Wade recently participated in a mission trip to Uganda, where she taught nurses how to provide the best care for their patients through workshops and case scenarios. The trip was a truly rewarding experience for Riley-Wade, and she hopes to volunteer her time again.
