She made a 3D printed light-up at night pet collar, which she demonstrated at the Faire. When it’s dark, the collar illuminates so that you can see your pet easily.

Blythe built her project at the Fairfield County Makers' Guild, a local makerspace, where she had access to 3D printers that allowed her to fabricate her model of the pet collar.

The collar was designed using Sketchup - a 3D design softare.  Blythe also soldered her own electronics together, which included LED lights, a light sensor, transistor, and a battery.

The project was featured on makezine.com and adafruit.com, as well as on the Makers' Guild site

Blythe describes her product on a YouTube video, which has over 12,000 views.
