NORWALK, Conn. -- The Norwalk Community Chorale is seeking new members for its 70-person, four-part chorus.

Anyone can join, but the group particularly need tenors and basses. There are no tryouts or residency restrictions, nor do you need to read music.

Rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at the Mary McCarthy room adjacent to the Norwalk Concert Hall, Norwalk City Hall at 125 East Ave.

New members will be welcomed through Feb. 4. Dues are $40 for the 2013-14 year, a one time charge.

For more information or to join the chorus contact conductor Brian Muller at 203-451-6742 or email the group.

The chorus has entertained the greater Norwalk community for more than 50 years, performing concerts at Christmas and in the spring, as well as at local community functions upon request.
