On Friday, Sept. 20, the Norwalk Public Library will celebrate the opening of the Norwalk History Room. On Saturday, Sept. 21, there will be an open house at the Norwalk Police Department, located at 1 Monroe St from 1 to 3 p.m.
The Rowayton Historical Society will celebrate the opening of the exhibit Celebrating the Farrell Legacy in Rowayton at the Rowayton Community Center from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The center is located at 33 Highland Ave.
Norwalk 2.0 will host "10 Narratives & Faces of Norwalk" with an opening night reception from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday at Pop City Sono, located at 14 S. Main St. For more information, visit Norwalk 2.0's website.
Sunday, Sept. 22, will include music at Fodor Farm with the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra string quartet playing from 1 to 2 p.m. and The Jim Clark Trio performing from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Fodor Farm is located at 328 Flax Hill Road.
The Centennial celebration resumes Wednesday, Sept. 25, with a lecture on Connecticut impressionism at the main library auditorium from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The Norwalk Public Library is located at 1 Belden Ave.
The celebration concludes Saturday, Sept. 28, with a lecture by painter Charles Reiffel presented by the New Canaan Historical Society from 4 to 6 p.m. at 13 Oenoke Ridge, New Canaan. And mini-tours of the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum from noon to 4 p.m. It is located at 295 West Ave.
