Norwalk Artist Tom Kretsch Opens Exhibit At Darien Library

DARIEN, Conn. - An opening reception will be held for a new photographic exhibition by Norwalk Sister City board member Tom Kretsch from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday March 21, at the Darien Library.

For the past four years, Kretsch has traveled to Nagarote and other parts of Nicaragua as a part of the annual Sister City Board Delegation.

This colorful exhibition of photographs and accompanying narrative of the tremendous success of this remarkable program captures both the beauty of the people and the colorful environment, which they call home.

Rising early in the morning, Kretsch wandered the streets of Nagarote, Granada and San Juan Del Sur to capture the spirit of this vibrant country.

The exhibit will be on display through April 25 at the Darien Library.
