Lysik, Ex-Norwalk Auto Shop Owner, Dies at 74

NORWALK, Conn – Robert W. Lysik, 74, of Trumbull, died peacefully April 1 in St. Vincent's Medical Center, with family by his side.

Lysik was the former proprietor of Auto Parts of Ct in Norwalk.

He was born Oct. 5, 1937 to the late Mary Anne Jedynak and Henry H. Lysik. A graduate of Fairfield Prep and the University of Bridgeport, Lysik also worked at Winchester Olin for more than 20 years.

Lysik was a director of Burndy of Norwalk, a lifetime member of the Lions Club and a member of the Concerned Citizens of Trumbull. An Army veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Patricia Duclos Lysik; his daughter, Melanie (Robert) Jordan, of Arizona; his son, Robert Michael (Thao) Lysik, of Shelton; and three grandchildren. Lysik was predeceased by his brother, Ed Lysik.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Theresa Church in Trumbull. Interment will follow in St. Michael's Cemetery in Stratford. Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at Commerce Hill Radozycki Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
