NORWALK, Conn. – Organizers of Keep Norwalk Beautiful Day, an all-day cleanup of city streets and neighborhoods, are looking for volunteers for the April 6 event.
The volunteers are needed to clean litter from streets, schools, parks, the shoreline and other areas of the city. The annual event has drawn dozens of participants in past years.
Groups are welcome, but organizers will place solo volunteers with others to form cleanup teams.
For more information, or to register, contact Norwalk Neighborhood Improvement Coordinator David Shockley at dshockley@norwalkct.org or call 203-854-7810, Ext. 46782.
