GE Capital Interns Volunteer For Norwalk's STAR

NORWALK, Conn. – A group of interns from GE Capital completed a day of volunteerism with Norwalk’s STAR residential living program.

Thirty-two GE Capital interns spent a day landscaping, painting, scraping, staining and otherwise improving one of STAR’s residential locations that houses Fairfield County adults with development disabilities.

Thirty-two interns spent a day landscaping, painting, scraping, staining and otherwise improving one of STAR’s residential locations that houses Fairfield County adults with development disabilities.

“We are glad to come to STAR and give back,” Besard Gjoini, a University of Connecticut at Storrs student and intern at the Danbury location of GE Capital, said in a press release.

“It has been a very impressive experience, learning more about this population.”

The interns spent their summer working at GE Capital offices in Norwalk, Danbury and Stamford.
