YWCA Darien/Norwalk To Offer Day Of Free Dance Classes

DARIEN, Conn. – The Darien School of Dance at the YWCA will host an afternoon of free dance classes on Thursday, July 19. The classes are a sampling of the school’s fall schedule and are taught by Director Brigita McLeaod and ballet teacher Renee Gregory.

The classes are:

• Pre-ballet class for 3- and 4-year-olds from 1 to 1:30 p.m.

• Pre-ballet class for 5 and 6-year-olds from 2 to 2:30 p.m.

• Ballet class for students ages 7 to 9 from 3 to 3:30 p.m.

• Ballet and jazz class for students ages 10 and up from 4 to 4:30 p.m.

Refreshments will be served throughout the day, and T-shirts will be given out with new fall registrations. To reserve a spot, call 203-912-4804 or email dariendance@optimum.net. The YWCA Darien/Norwalk is located at 49 Old Kings Highway N.
