NORWALK, Conn. Catherine Horlick of Stratford, previously of Cove Avenue in Norwalk, died May 2. She was 82.
The daughter of Rosario and Nicoletta Antonetta Rametta, she was born April 4, 1930, in Scranton, Pa. She moved to Norwalk as a young girl and attended Norwalk schools. Horlick was employed at 5 & 10 on Wall Street, before working for 30 years at the production office of Diane Knit Fabrics in South Norwalk. After Diane Knit Fabrics closed, Horlick worked for Hocon Gas until she retired in 1993.
She was married to John Horlick. In 2005, she moved to Stratford to live with her daughter Mary and son-in-law Lew.
In addition to her daughter and son-in-law, Horlick is survived by two granddaughters, a great-grandson, a nephew and two nieces. She was predeceased by her husband; and two brothers, Joseph Zannella Sr. and Frederick Zannella.
Calling hours are 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Norwalk. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery in Norwalk.
