NORWALK, Conn. William "Bill" Andrew Puskas, a resident of Norwalk and Nalcrest, Fla., died March 24 after a brief illness at Good Shepherd Hospice. He was 68.
Born Dec. 29, 1943 in Norwalk, he was the son of the late William and Barbara Puskas. He graduated from Brien McMahon High School and served in the US Navy. A postal worker, Puskas retired from the Norwalk Post Office after more than 25 years. He then spent five years working as a deliveryman for FedEx. After retirement, he moved to Florida and explored his passion for golf.
He was predeceased by his wife Karen Puskas, whom he met at the post office. Puskas is survived by three daughters, Victoria Cabrera, Debra Collinge and Rose Caruso; a son, Billy Puskas; a sister, Barbara Sanders; a brother, Brian Puskas, of Norwalk and eight grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday at St. Mary's Cemetery in Rye Brook, N.Y.
