NORWALK, Conn. – Antonietta DiIorio of Norwalk died May 4 at Norwalk Hospital. She was 70.
Born in Ischia, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Ciro and Carmela Mazzella DiMeglio. She married the late Giorgio DiIorio and worked as a homemaker. DiIorio had been a Norwalk resident since 1969.
She is survived by two sons, Claudio DiIorio and Ciro (Jocelyn) DiIorio; six brothers, Antonio, Ciro, Camillo, Giovanni, Umberto and Carlo; two sisters, Pasqualina and Anna Marie; four grandchildren and many relatives and friends in Italy.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Collins Funeral Home in Norwalk. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Thomas the Apostle Church in Norwalk. Burial will follow in St. John Cemetery in Norwalk.
