Winged Monkey Prom Trunk Show Lifts Off

It’s April and pre-prom primping is in full swing. Many girls already have their dresses hanging in their closets before they’ve even settled on a date for the evening. If, however, you have a prom dress procrastinator on your hands, you’re in luck. There’s still a smattering of upcoming trunk shows to outfit your teen for the big dance.

This week, you can find Niteline dresses by Aidan Mattox at Westport’s Winged Monkey Boutique. From Thursday, April 14 through Sunday, April 17, you and your daughter will find pieces from this sophisticated collection, which includes long, flowing lines as well as shorter cocktail length dresses. They run the gamut from sweet to chic.

And Winged Monkey’s prom dress policy? “We will only sell one dress per dance,” they say. Which happily helps your daughter avoid the awkward "I can't believe she's wearing my dress!” moment.
