South Norwalk Library Launches Young Musicians Series

NORWALK, Conn. – The South Norwalk Branch Library is launching a free, “mini musicians” series for children on Thursdays starting Jan. 3.

Participants can play musical instruments, sing, dance and hear and perform musical stories. The weekly sessions are from 11 a.m. to noon in the Stew Leonard III Children’s Library at the South Norwalk branch, located at 10 Washington St.

Participants will learn “basic musical concepts,” such as rhythm, pitch and tempo, according to the library.

The program is limited to 15 children and registration is required; visit the library’s website to register and for more information.
