Are you wondering just how thirsty your new car actually is? The U.S. Environmental Protection Agenc y (EPA) has released its list of 2011's fuel-sipping vehicles. Here they are, in order of thirst:

1. Nissan Leaf . This hard-to-find, all-electric car will get you 106 miles "per gallon" (but actually, per charge) in the city and 92 on the highway.

2. smart fortwo : City: 95. Highway: 79.

3. Chevrolet Volt (hybrid): On premium gas: 35 mpg city, 40 highway. On a battery charge: 94 "mpg" in the city and 90 on the highway.

4. Toyota Prius : City: 51. Highway: 48

5. Lexus CT : City: 43. Highway: 40

6. Ford Fusion Hybrid FWD , Mercury Milan Hybrid FWD, Lincoln MKZ Hybrid FWD: City: 41. Highway: 36.

7. Honda Civic Hybrid , Honda Insight Hybrid: City: 40. Highway 43.

8. Hyundai Sonata Hybrid : City: 34. Highway: 40.

9. Honda CR-Z : City: 35. Highway: 39.

10. Lexus HS 250h : City 35. Highway: 34.
