MSNBC Morning Joe stars Mika Brzezinski and Joe Scarborough dropped by J. McLaughlin in Westport recently for a stylish evening of fashion and food. The store, decked out in fall finery, provided the backdrop to signature Mika and Joe banter.
The evenings cause for celebration, beyond the bold face names, was the Womens Campaign School at Yale. J.McLaughlin donated 15 percent of the evenings sales to the charity, which is a non-partisan leadership program whose mission is to increase the number and influence of women in elected and appointed office in the United States and around the globe.
Also on hand to support the cause were: Kevin McLaughlin, Jay McLaughlin, Steve Siegler, Chris Shays, Lisa Wexler, DJ Carey, Patricia Russo from the Womens Campaign School at Yale and Kathy McShane.
The event co-hosting organization was Ladies Who Launch, a national group dedicated to making entrepreneurship accessible to any woman with a project, dream or aspiration to start her own business or simply live her passion.
