Big holiday happenings are on the horizon. Are you still birdless? No worries, the Village Market in Wilton has you covered. They’re one of only two markets in Fairfield County to offer the Gozzi bird for your Thanksgiving festivities.

What’s a Gozzi? Well, first it was a family. Sixty years ago, the Gozzi family started raising turkeys in Guilford, Conn. Their goal was to breed a unique, “broad breasted bird,” with plenty of white meat for your table. The Gozzi family succeeded, and the result is the Gozzi turkey.
