Joe Passero, Klaff’s chairman and chief operating officer, presented a $19,954 check to museum officials.
“We are proud to support this National Historic Landmark and its mission,” Passero said in a press release.
“The mansion enriches the community and the region through outstanding cultural and educational programs, while championing a 19th-century iconic building that has become for so many a treasured destination.”
Passero is also a trustee of the Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum. The donation represented the proceeds from the Klaff’s Jerry Levine charity golf outing held in August.
“We are thrilled to have received Klaff’s very generous support again this year,” Patsy Brescia, chairwoman of the museum’s board of trustees, said in a press release.
“They have been steadfast supporters of the mansion for more (than 10) years and we hope for many more to come.”
“Klaff’s has been a very generous sponsor of LMMM donating altogether close to $300,000,” says Lockwood-Mathews Mansion Museum Executive Director Susan Gilgore. “The Board of Trustees and I are extremely grateful for Klaff’s continued support, which has helped the Mansion develop programs that truly make a difference in the life of our communities."
