DARIEN, Conn. – Jenna Bush Hager, daughter of President George W. Bush, will speak in Darien on April 4 at a benefit for STAR Inc., Lighting the Way, a not-for-profit organization in Norwalk that serves individuals with developmental disabilities.
Hager’s speech, titled “The Power of Compassion and How It Can Change Lives,” will take place at 11 a.m. at Woodway Country Club, located at 540 Hoyt St.
The event will begin with a meet-and-greet with Hager for sponsors and select ticket holders, followed by a luncheon and Hager’s speech. Sharon Crowley, a reporter and anchor for WNYW Fox 5 and WWOR My9 News, will moderate.
Individual tickets start at $75, and the meet-and-greet tickets begin $250.
Hager is a correspondent for "Today" and author of “Ana’s Story: A Journey of Hope,” a New York Times best seller, and “Read All About It!” with her mother, former First Lady Laura Bush.
