Full Rainbow Forms In The Wake Of The Storms In Fairfield County

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — Two bands of powerful thunderstorms moved across Fairfield County on Monday.

But the storms brought more than just heavy rain and pounding thunder. They also brought a number of bright rainbows to the skies over Connecticut on a hot and humid evening. 

The one in Danbury, spotted from the Fair Mall to downtown and beyond, was a full rainbow, from end to end. It was almost too big to capture in one frame as crowds stopped to take pictures of the incredible sight.
