Fashion Preserves in Greenwich

The Avenue sparkled on Wednesday night when Saks hosted a festive fashion show to benefit the Greenwich Preservation Trust. Guests mingled and enjoyed wine and hors d’oeuvres before the show. Then, Saks turned up the volume on some holiday tunes and local ladies took center stage as they strode onto the catwalk in some of the latest looks available at Saks.

The models were all volunteers with the Greenwich Preservation Trust, a non-profit whose mission it is to educate and advocate for preservation of historic and cultural resources through preservation projects.

“It’s a great way to raise money and awareness for what we do,” said GPT board member and model for the evening, Margaret Conboy. “And I get to wear this beautiful Nanette Lepore dress.”

Ten percent of the evening’s sales will benefit the Greenwich Preservation Trust.
