The stone-faced mannequins seen doing what busy Westport women do at hot spots Aux Delices, The Spotted Horse Tavern and Savannah Bee were all part of the fun and fabulous way Westport’s latest boutique — NIC+ZOE of Bedford Square — is introducing itself to its first-ever Connecticut customers.

“Building on the unique retail offerings coming to Bedford Square and downtown Westport, NIC+ZOE have already proven to be a fun and innovative addition to our shopping scene,” said Randy Herbertson, president of the Westport Downtown Merchants Association. “Our local shopper is sure to embrace them.”

Can’t get enough? Head on over to NIC+ZOE for its grand opening party, from 2 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 9. There will be “sips, light bites, a special offer and more.”

NIC+ZOE is a Boston-based fashion brand “focused on dressing real women for the moments that matter in their daily lives,” said CEO Susie Mulder. “We want to make it easy for them to feel like their best selves no matter what they are doing.”

Shoppers will find the boutique brimming with new styles and silhouettes of the season.

Known for its craftsmanship, innovative knitwear and impeccable fit and function, the clothing line aims to offer options for day to night, work to weekend.

The Bedford Square store at 7 Church Lane is open Mondays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
