Chef Didi Emmons Comes to Fairfield

Didi Emmons, the self-proclaimed “roving eco-chef” is coming to Fairfield. Emmons, also an author, educator and former restaurateur, will be at Barcelona Wine Bar & Restaurant in Fairfield this Saturday, March 31 for a cocktail and dinner party.

Emmons latest cookbook, Wild Flavors: One Chef’s Transformative Year Cooking from Eva’s Farm will serve as the inspiration in Barcelona’s kitchen for the evening. In addition to the restaurant’s regular menu, they’ll also serve dishes from the book featuring things like juniper berries, sunchokes and lovage, all prepared by Adam Halberg, Barcelona’s Culinary Director.

Cocktails happen from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., and dinner starts at 7:00. Reservations are definitely required. Make yours by calling (203) 255-0800.
