NORWALK, Conn. -- Bogey's Grille & Tap Room already had a chalkboard sign up announcing it had won the DVlicious "Best Burger in Fairfield County." But now, Owner Jim Stablein has the official award.
Daily Voice Features Editor Jeanne Muchnick stopped by the Norwalk eatery to present Stablein with the framed cerficate.
Stablein said the response from the Daily Voice contest continues to pour in with guests wanting to try the restaurant's famous Prime Beef burger, an 8-ounce Allen Brothers USDA prime blend, with applewood smoked bacon and blue cheese topped with a fried egg.
"This award had a community spirit to it," said Stablein. "People heard about it, voted, and came in to sample the burgers. We've been very pleased."
