WESTPORT, Conn.— Well, are you? The Westport Arts Center (WAC) wants to know.

The creative souls there are gearing up to make a real meal out of your artwork. September 14, WAC plans to launch a new exhibit, “Foodies.” And local art is the key ingredient.

Artists who are hungry to take on this challenge are invited to interpret the “food” theme in creative and unexpected ways and in whatever medium whets their appetite.

The exhibition will be judged by area celebrity foodies Pat Callaghan (Pepperidge Farms), Stew Leonard (Stew Leonard’s), Michel Nischan (The Dressing Room) and Bill Taibe (LeFarm and The Whelk).

Entry forms are available in PDF form on the WAC website. All entries must be hand delivered and ready to hang on September 4, 2012.
