NORWALK, Conn. – Celebrated zookeeper Jack Hanna will give two lectures at the Maritime Aquarium at Norwalk on March 14 and will include displays of some of his exotic animals.
Hanna, who has appeared on numerous television shows including his own syndicated ones, will give lectures at 4 and 8 p.m. on his adventures in the animal kingdom.
Tickets are $45 each, or $40 each for Maritime Aquarium members.
“We are excited to welcome Jack as part of our Global Insights series, which offers us a better understanding of our world through the experiences of today’s best environmentalists and adventurers,” Jennifer Herring, president of the aquarium, said in a statement. “We definitely share his passion and compassion for the natural world, and look forward to hosting not only Jack but also the animals that he’ll be sharing with us.”
Hanna is director emeritus of the Columbus Zoo & Aquarium in Ohio and has appeared on “Good Morning America” and “The Late Show With David Letterman,” among others. He currently has two syndicated shows, “Into the Wild” and “Wild Countdown.”
