DARIEN, Conn. – The YWCA Darien/Norwalk announced a handful of upcoming events for the rest of January.

First is “Celebrate U,” scheduled for Wednesday, Jan. 14, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Physicians from Stamford Hospital (co-sponsors of the event) will discuss women’s health and wellness topics, including breast health, stress management, healthy eating and digestion, osteoporosis and diabetes. The registration fee is $10; participants may register at ywcadariennorwalk.org.

The next Job Search Support For Women classes will be in Basic Word, Basic Excel and Keyboarding/Typing. Class begins Tuesday, Jan. 27. Contact Kate Foster at katef@ywcadariennorwalk.org to register.

Toddler Time 2015-16/Summer Fun 2015 Priority Registration for YWCA members is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 30, via lottery system and not on a first-come, first-served basis.

Anyone interested in the lottery should arrive at the YWCA offices between 9 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., as lottery numbers will be handed out at 9:30 sharp.

If you can't attend in person, a proxy can cover for you. Note that at least 50 percent tuition is due at time of registration, payable by check or credit card.
