What's Happening In Norwalk This Weekend

NORWALK, Conn. – It will be a quiet weekend in Norwalk, but there are still a couple of events for families. Here’s what’s happening:

Friday, July 6

Family concert: 10 a.m. Families with young children can join Deidre for songs, puppets and action rhymes. Norwalk Public Library, 1 Belden Ave.

Story and Crafts: 4 p.m. Children of all ages are invited for an afternoon of crafts and a short story. Norwalk Public Library, 1 Belden Ave.

Saturday, July 7

BooZoo at Ready, Set, Read: 10 a.m. BooZoo, the lovable puppy character from the Stepping Stones Museum for Children, will be at the Norwalk Library’s Ready, Set, Read summer program, which will include storytelling and crafts. Norwalk Public Library, 1 Belden Ave.

Norwalk High School Class of 1938 Reunion: 12 p.m. The Norwalk High School Class of 1938 will hold its 74th Reunion. At least five of the remaining 15 members are expected to attend. South Norwalk Boat Club, 17 Mack Street.

Creative Kids: Nepal: 2 p.m. Explore Nepal through hands-on activities and make a Nepalese-style mask to take home. The cost is $15 for adults and children, $10 for seniors and free for infants under one. Stepping Stones Museum for Children, 303 West Ave.
