Monday, Sept. 10

Mayor's Trophy Golf Tournament : 7 a.m. All proceeds from this golf tournament go toward improvements at the public course. Lunch and awards will follow golf. The cost is $125 per golfer. Oak Hills Park Golf Course, 165 Fillow St.

Board of Estimation and Taxation : 7:30 p.m. The Board of Estimation and Taxation will hold a special meeting. Room 231, Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Ave.

Tuesday, Sept. 11

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony : 8:30 a.m. The 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony will include a raising of the flag, reading of names, bagpipes, honor guard and singing of the National Anthem. Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Ave.

9/11 Remembrance Ceremony : 8:30 a.m. West Rocks Middle School students will be joined by Lynn McGuinn of Westchester County, whose husband, Francis Noel McGuinn,  died on 9/11/2001. 81 West Rocks Road.

The IEP and Beyond : 10:30 a.m. Gail Mangs, an educational consultant with the state Department of Education, Bureau of Special Education, will discuss content areas of the Individualized Education Program, your child’s rights and important new legislation.
